INTEGRATED UNIT 1ST ESO

This year, our pupils of 1st ESO have enjoyed a lot doing the projects of the integrated unit. They have written terror stories in Spanish and English and invitations for the event of Halloween in French!! Also, they have worked the topic of the Moon and its phases in biology, looked for terror soundtracks in music and danced terror choreographies in P.E.  ;)

Este año, nuestros alumnos de 1º ESO han disfrutado mucho haciendo los proyectos de la unidad integrada. ¡Han escrito historias de miedo en español e inglés y también invitaciones para el evento de Halloween en francés!
Además, ha trabajado el tema de la Luna y sus fases en biología, buscado bandas sonoras de terror en música y bailado coreografías de miedo en E.F.  ;)

1st year of ESO The Fable. 3rd term integrated unit

Hi everyone, we know you are all in the middle of your long-wished summer holidays but we have some extraordinary samples of our third-term work regarding bilingual studies. This video is from the first year of ESO students who researched on Fables and this academic course we made them record a wonderful video to show the result. It is difficult for them to manage some tools but they made a great effort with IT and we hope you enjoy it.

Hola a todos, sabemos que estáis en mitad de vuestras ansiadas vacaciones de verano, pero teníamos algunas muestras del tercer trimestre de bilingüismo pendientes. Este video es de los alumnos de 1º de ESO que han investigado sobre las fábulas a través de todas las materias e hicimos que grabaran este maravilloso video en el que podéis ver el resultado. Es difícil para ellos manejara algunas herramientas de las nuevas tecnologías pero esperamos que esto sirva para un primer contacto y que lo disfrutéis.

1st year of ESO pre-task, second term. A herbary

This second term, the Natural Science teacher has introduced a new activity which has been really successful and here is the result. Two wonderful examples of herbaries from the groups of the first year of ESO. They really enjoyed the process of picking the leaves and flowers and the covers are great.

Este segundo trimestre la profesora de ciencias naturales ha introducido una nueva actividad que ha resultado realmente exitosa y aquí tenéis la muestra. Dos magníficos ejemplos de herbarios de los grupos de primero de la ESO que han disfrutado enormemente del proceso de coger las flores y hojas y que han dibujado unas fabulosas portadas.

1st year of ESO Integrated Unit-Second term-Jarifa in Love

Regarding our project related to Saint Valentine's Day, Jarifa in Love, here you have some of the results for decorating our classrooms. We have to point out that this year, physical education took part  with love dances that we will post as soon as we have them.

Respecto a nuestro proyecto bilingüe de primero relacionado con el día de San Valentín, con el título de Jarifa Enamorada, aquí tenéis algunas muestras de cómo han quedado decoradas nuestras aulas y debemos señalar que este año educación física como nueva materia bilingüe participó con las danzas de amor que colgaremos tan pronto como las tengamos disponibles.

1st year of ESO-2nd Term Bookmarkers

Hi, everyone !We will start uploading all the material created in this second term and the first pre-task we will look into is the bookmarkers the students have designed for biology to study the parts of a flower. Most of them include real flowers and they were put in the posters too at the end of the project and the result is amazing.

Hola a todos de nuevo, en este segundo trimestre comenzaremos a subir todo el material creado para  los proyectos integrados de bilingüismo y en biología los estudiantes han hecho una tarea bien interesante consistente en la creaciónde unos marcapáginas con flores reales para ver las partes de las mismas y adjuntarlos a los pósters del proyecto de bilingüismo que lucen magníficos en las paredes de las aulas de 1º de ESO.

1st year of ESO-First term

In the first year of ESO we show you a picture of all the subjects that took part in the project. The posters are decorating the classrooms and the activity in the library is in another entry that you find earlier in time. 

Os mostramos una foto con el resultado del proyecto global de primero en todas las materias bilingües excepto el baile de EF y todas las actividades de la biblioteca que podéis comprobar en una entrada más antigua.

1st year of ESO- Biology pre-task: The Blood Moon

In this term we have worked on the red moon and planets for Natural Science and Biology in the first year of ESO. There you have some examples of what we got.

En este trimestre hemos trabajado la unidad de la luna roja y los planetas en CCNN de 1º de ESO en la unidad de bilingüismo. Ahí tenéis muestras de lo que hemos conseguido.

The Bood Moon- Natural Science 1st year of ESO. 1st term.

For Halloween, we had the contest and students read stories in English, French and Spanish in the library. In Natural Science they made posters with the phases of the moon and the red moon phenomenon for the integrated unit of this level in the 1st term.

Para Halloween, aparte del concurso, el alumnado leyó historias en inglés, francés y español en la biblioteca. En Ciencias Naturales hicieron pósters con las fases de la luna y el fenómeno de la luna roja para la unidad integrada de este nivel en el primer trimestre.

THE STUDENTS OF THE FIRST YEAR OF ESO CREATE THEIR OWN FABLES NARRATED IN 3 LANGUAGES:SPANISH, ENGLISH AND FRENCH! AFTER WRITING THEM THEY TELL THEIR FABLES TO THE REST OF THE CLASS!!

LOS ALUMNOS DEL PRIMER CURSO DE ESO CREAN SUS PROPIAS FÁBULAS NARRADAS EN 3 IDIOMAS: ESPAÑOL, INGLÉS Y FRANCÉS!! TRAS ESCRIBIRLAS LAS CUENTAN PARA EL RESTO DE LA CLASE!!

LUNA SANGRIENTA EN HALLOWEEN BLOODY MOON IN HALLOWEEN

LOS ESTUDIANTES ESTUDIAN LA LUNA Y SUS FASES. ADEMÁS REALIZAN MURALES, PROYECTOS Y RELATOS SOBRE LA LUNA SANGRIENTA QUE FUERON EXPUESTOS EN LA BIBLIOTECA DURANTE EL DÍA DE HALLOWEEN.

STUDENTS ARE TAUGHT ABOUT THE MOON AND ITS PHASES. BESIDES, THEY MADE MURALS, PROJECTS AND SHORT STORIES ABOUT THE BLOODY MOON WHICH WERE SHOWN IN THE LIBRARY DURING THE HALLOWEEN FESTIVITY.
